Founder branding: the company brand, built on you.
Founder branding makes you, the founder, the most trusted channel your company has, so clients, partners and hires already believe you before the first call. We run it done for you, in your voice, on YouTube and Instagram. You stay the face and the source. A team of six does the work.
What is founder branding?
Founder branding is building the founder's public reputation on purpose, as a growth channel for the company. People buy from people. A face with a point of view earns trust faster than a logo with a value proposition, and when every company in a market claims the same things, that trust decides who gets the call.
A company can run well and still depend on a founder who has to chase every deal, because the market does not know who is behind it. A visible founder turns that around: inquiries arrive warmer, sales calls start with trust already in place, price comes up less, and people apply because they know who they will be working for.
Unlike ads or a sales team, it is a channel you keep. Every video builds on the one before it, and the library keeps working when the budget stops. That is why we treat founder branding as a system, not a campaign.
Founder branding vs personal branding vs employer branding
Founder branding is personal branding with one job: growing the company the founder runs. Personal branding is the broad term for a brand built around any person, for any goal. Employer branding is a different discipline: it sells the company as a place to work, to job candidates.
| Term | Built around | Speaks to | Its job | What to measure |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Personal branding | Any person | Whoever follows that person | The person's own career, profile or speaking | Opportunities that come to the person |
| Founder branding | The founder of a company | Buyers, partners and future hires | Growth of the company | Inquiries, booked calls and revenue |
| Employer branding | The company as an employer | Job candidates | Hiring and keeping people | Applications and retention |
In practice, founder branding brings much of the employer branding effect with it. A founder who stands for something in public makes hiring easier than a vacancy campaign does. One shoot day a month from you. Everything else from the team.
We build founder brands on video, because that is where trust is made: long videos on YouTube prove you know your field, and Shorts and reels on Instagram make sure the right people meet you. You talk about your work for about a shoot day a month. The team does the rest:
Filming is flexible: your own setup, a local videographer, or our crew, who come to you and coach you on camera.
What stays with you, and what the team takes over
You keep what makes the brand yours: your opinions, your stories, your face on camera and the final say on how you are positioned. Nobody can make those up for you, and a brand built on invented opinions holds up exactly until the first real sales call.
The team takes over the rest, which is most of the work and the part that stalls when your calendar fills up: research, strategy, scripting support, filming, editing, titles, thumbnails, publishing and the monthly numbers. We never invent your opinion, and nothing goes live that you would not say yourself. You approve the scripts and the final edits.

Who founder branding works for, and who it does not
Founder branding works for founders who have already proven something: a company that runs, clients who pay and a story that holds up. What is missing is visibility that carries that proof to the market. A new channel or an existing one both work.
Where you are does not matter. Right now we run 10 active clients, for founders in the United States, Dubai, the Netherlands and Belgium, and every call is planned in your time zone.
It does not work if you are after a quick spike in views, expect results inside 90 days, or want content in which you never appear. Founder branding is a build of a year, not a quarter, which is also why it is hard to copy once you keep it going.

In 7 months from about 50 to about 320 community members at $250, almost all of it organic, mostly through YouTube and Instagram. Two founders who went all in on their own brand, with a team behind them. Read the full case →
